Every year at the ASTRO Annual Meeting, we welcome in our new Board of Directors, as well as our new Nominating Committee. It’s a time for us to say hello to new faces and incorporate fresh and innovative ideas into our organization. This is a time for us to reevaluate our current goals, and set new goals for the future.
With ASTRO’s 2015 Elections now open, we at ASTRO encourage you to take the time to vote. Voting is a great way to get involved, show that you care and share your opinion. Participating in the elections lets you put your support behind someone that you trust and that you know has the best intentions when it comes to furthering ASTRO’s mission. Voting allows us to voice our desires for the future direction of our field.
We face many challenges in the coming years regarding the role that radiation plays in the lives of our patients, and voting allows us to choose the best leadership to face these challenges. By taking the time to learn about all of our candidates and choosing who you think is best fit to lead, you are playing your part.
We hope that you take the time to cast your vote in the 2015 Board of Directors Elections and spread the word to your colleagues to do the same. You can help make sure that ASTRO continues to move forward in a positive direction in the coming year!
Read our candidate’s biographies and policy statements and then cast your vote!
